Rahma Addan hails from Isiolo. She was born and raised in a poor family alongside her six other siblings. Getting through school was an uphill task because her parents could not always afford school fees and to make matters worse, she lost her father while in class four.
Her mother struggled to take her through to secondary school and with the help of bursaries; she managed to complete her O levels. Only one of her siblings is working and he enrolled her in a tertiary course until 2018. She has however, had no luck in getting a job until recently when she was nominated into the Apprentice program.
Rahma is excited about this opportunity and what it means for her and her future as well as her family. She is assured that her interest in technology and openness to learning will make this a fruitful endeavor.
